Understanding yourself more clearly
Life can feel confusing or overwhelming when things don’t quite make sense internally. You might notice patterns in your thoughts or behaviour that are hard to shift, or feel unsure why things are the way they are.
In therapy, we take the time to explore this together—helping you understand what’s going on more clearly and find a way forward that feels manageable and grounded.

A thoughtful, collaborative approach to understanding yourself
Together, we’ll explore what’s going on beneath the surface—helping you understand yourself more clearly and begin to move forward in a way that feels right for you.
Constant overthinking or feeling unable to
switch off
Your mind may feel busy most of the time—going over the same thoughts, second-guessing decisions, or struggling to find a sense of calm. Together, we can begin to understand these patterns so they feel less overwhelming and easier to manage.
Feeling anxious, on edge or overwhelmed
You might feel constantly tense, on edge, or unable to fully relax, even when there’s no clear reason why. Together, we can begin to understand what’s driving these feelings so they become less intense and easier to manage.
Feeling low, stuck or lacking direction
You might feel flat, unmotivated or unsure where things are heading, even if you can’t fully explain why. Together, we can begin to understand what’s behind this and find a way forward that feels clearer and more manageable.
Struggling with confidence or self-worth
You might find yourself doubting your decisions, being hard on yourself, or feeling like you’re not quite good enough. Together, we can begin to understand where these patterns come from and build a more stable sense of confidence.
Feeling alone or disconnected from others
You might feel distant from people, even when you’re not physically alone, or find it hard to feel truly understood. Together, we can explore what’s contributing to this and help you feel more connected in your relationships.
Important Note for Potential Clients
When I may not be the right fit
I am committed to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of my clients. However, there are some areas where I’m not able to offer the level of support needed.
This includes:
- psychotic symptoms
- chronic eating disorders
- addiction issues
- active suicidal thoughts or behaviours or situations where there is an immediate risk to life
If you are experiencing any of the above, it’s important that you receive the right level of care and support from a specialist service.
If you’re unsure whether this applies to you, you’re welcome to get in touch and we can think it through together.
You don’t have to face this alone. I would encourage you to reach out to appropriate support, such as:
- Emergency services: Call 999 if you or someone else is in immediate danger
- Samaritans: 116 123 (free, 24/7, confidential support)
- National Suicide Prevention Helpline UK: 0800 689 5652
Therapy that fits around your life
Online or Phone Therapy
Therapy doesn’t have to take place in a clinic room. Sessions can happen online or by phone, giving you a private, comfortable space to talk from wherever you feel most at ease.
It works much like in-person therapy, with the same level of care, attention and confidentiality—just with more flexibility around your day-to-day life.
